The Apeks XL4 Octopus is based on the lightweight compact Apeks XL4 second stage which comes as part of the Apeks XL4 Regulator and Apeks XL4 Regulator Set. The principle behind this alternate air source is to provide divers with the same high performance that you would expect from an Apeks pneumatically balanced valve.

Furthermore with the additional features of superb performance in cold water and the diver adjustable venturi control this alternate second stage (octopus) is one of the best choices for extreme conditions.

The second stage is a lightweight plastic body with a durable and flexible rubber exhaust tee. The body of the second stage has high visibility yellow accent pieces for easy location in the event of low air or out of air emergency for your buddy. The second stage comes fitted with a 36” lightweight braided yellow hose.
